Hire a Guide

Generally, we can arrange guides for any date of your choice, with advance notice.
Sometimes, dates won’t be available because of seasonal restrictions or equipment availability, but you can give us a call on 01653 740 400 or email hello@largeoutdoors.com and we’ll do our best to help and outline your options.

This will depend on the proposed walking route or activity, time of day, duration and number of participants. Some of our most popular Hire a Guide options are outlined in the ‘Hire a Guide Options’ section below, but you can contact us for a no-obligation quote and more information if you have something else in mind.

Costs are per guide. The maximum number of participants allowed per guide can be found in the ratio details for each experience. See the ‘Hire a Guide Options’ section below, or contact us for bespoke routes and activities.

With advance notice, we can usually add extra guides to an existing booking if your group size grows. Just get in touch if you think you might need multiple guides and we can chat through the options available to you.

Absolutely! You can either:

• Book onto an existing open challenge experience (check out the Challenges tab or pages) and raise money for the charity of your choice;

• Hire a Guide to hold your own exclusive fundraising challenge walk;

• Work with Large Outdoors to create a totally bespoke charity challenge if you need some help to make a fantastic challenge idea a reality.

If you fancy doing one of our challenges to fundraise for your chosen charity then do ask them if they’re already working with Large Outdoors, as there might be a discount available (and feel free to point them in our direction if they’re not, so we can help).

Of course. When you get in touch we will create a Booking Form for you and send an invoice (with purchase order numbers if required), which you can pay via BACS or credit/debit card.

If you’re booking a Tailored Trip there may be additional Terms & Conditions required, but we’d outline all of these at the quote stage.
